The journey of Ashwear is deeply personal. It began in Delhi, where Juyel, then a 9th-grade student, would skip tuition to ensure timely delivery of his brand’s orders. This dedication was not without its challenges. Despite facing backlash and even physical reprimand from his father, who doubted the potential of selling accessories, Juyel remained undeterred. His father’s skepticism, often expressed in Bengali with remarks like “churi mala beche kichu hobena” (selling accessories will lead nowhere), only fueled his resolve.

During his 10th-grade board exams, when most students were focused on their studies. Juyel made a bold decision to leave home and pursue his business full-time. For three months, he lived alone, working tirelessly to build Ashwear, eventually making his first profit of ₹7,500 in just one month. This milestone marked the beginning of a remarkable journey that would eventually change his family’s perspective.

A Family’s Change of Heart

Recognizing the undeniable dedication and early success of Ashwear, Juyel’s parents began to support his entrepreneurial endeavors. After securing 81% in his 10th boards, despite minimal preparation, Juyel dedicated the next 1.5 years to growing his brand. His efforts bore fruit, with Ashwear achieving sales of ₹17 lakh during this period, all without external funding.

A New Chapter in Bengal

While visiting his grandfather’s house in West Bengal. Juyel’s entrepreneurial spirit was further ignited by discussions with his brother-in-law about the school business. Inspired, he decided to stay in Bengal, where he successfully established a school in Pransagar, a small town in the South Dinajpur district. This venture marked the beginning of a new chapter in Juyel’s life. One that combined his passion for education with his dedication to Ashwear.

Ashwear Today: A Beacon of Gen-Z Innovation

Now based in Siliguri, drawn by the city’s favorable climate and growth potential. Juyel has expanded Ashwear into a thriving business. With a dedicated office, a growing team of employees, and a luxurious 3BHK flat in a high-end society, Ashwear is generating over ₹10 lakh in sales every month, with a staggering 40% monthly growth rate.

Ashwear’s success is built on its commitment to offering the most unique designs at affordable rates, making it the go-to destination for Gen-Z individuals who want to stand out. As the brand continues to launch innovative products, it is well on its way to becoming India’s most loved gifting and accessory brand for the Gen-Z community.
