Pune, Maharashtra (India): Rahul Ramesh Rane of Pune has been felicitated with the most prestigious Sports award of Maharashtra State – Shiv Chhatrapati Award, ‘Best Skating Coach for the year 2020-2021’. He has 36 years of skating and professional coaching experience. Multiple times National & International medalist, he is the only skater in India to win in all four disciplines – Speed, Artistic Solo, Pair Skating and Roller Hockey RSFI Nationals.

He has coached till date approx. 3.25 lakh skaters/cyclists. More than 400 of his students have won 4500+ National medals (NATIONAL GAMES, INTER UNIVERSITY, SFI, SGFI, CBSE, IG BOARD, IB BOARD, ICGSC BOARD, KV NATIONALS). They have also won Asian medals in skating & cycling. Maximum number of medals won by a single team in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021 & 2022. Two times he has been featured in limca book of records 1995 & 1996 for limbo skating. Till now six of his students have also received the Shiv Chhatrapati Award-

In 2015 Rahul Rane received the award for ‘The best innovative Coach’ by Respected Milkha Singhji. He also attended Coaches’ Training Program in China 2012 & 2016, Columbia 2014 & 2015 and represented India in the 1st FIRS International Speed Skating Seminar for Ambassador Coaches. He also got a Special invite for the ‘Inline Speed Skating International Seminar’ as a Certified Coach by World Skates in Rome, Italy in 2019. He has also received India’s Most Prestigious Corporate Award – GEA Global Excellence 2022 Award for manufacturing Best Skating Products and Accessories in India by the senior actor Anupam Kher in the 3rd edition of GEA Ceremony and an award ‘Idol Of Maharashtra’ by the esteemed Publication Sakal.
Rahul Rane is the only skating coach in the world who has his own skating rink, LXT Skating Rink.

Rahul with his farsighted global vision is the only coach in the World who has LXT Teams in few countries, has been a national medalist skater, manufacturer of word class sports equipments, brand owner of the largest skating brand in India, owner of international level skating facility and cofounder of an upcoming Nutrition brand. He owns factories that manufacture skate equipment, accessories and skate apparel. His manufacturing units include Quad frames, Quad boots, Bags, Speed sports wear and Skating Accessories. He has the biggest showroom for skates located at Pune.
He is also a co-founder of Meneki Global Pvt. Ltd. which is a Wellness and Sports Nutrition company. He exports to 23 countries and supplies all over India. He has successfully designed many quad and inline skates to serve various ages, height, weight and categories. Also his brand is well known world over and has won many Nationals, Asians, Inter continentals, Europeans and World Championships medals.
