Here is the Video of flag off ceremony:

On this occasion, Indian Coast Guard DIG Virender Singh Pathania also congratulated the team and said, “I complement Harsh and Sumit for leading the Warrior Expedition 32/26, so that spread the word and inculcate spirit of nationalism among the youth. I have seen the service from both ends from surface to air, I believe this is very challenging and adventurous career and also very rewarding. Thus I would advise and suggest that services are the best option when you have to choose career option. Thus we have to spread the awareness about services whether its olive green, or sky blue or navy or coast guard, it is aways the best. Once again I congratulate the team for their efforts.”

This is an awareness campaign initiative by Harsh Gupta and Sumit Kumar. These two patriots have aligned the expedition with ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ and today embarked on a new journey of “The Warrior Expedition 32/26”. Several veteran defence officers have extended support to the expedition. Lt. Gen Ashok Mehta (Rtd) said, “The expedition would create awareness among our youth about the bravery, glory and grandeur of our armed forces. I joined the Indian Army in 1957 and was commissioned in the 5th Gorkha Rifles infantry regiment the same year. Since then, I fought in almost all of the major wars India went into, with the exception of the Sino-Indian War of 1962, during which time I was on a peacekeeping mission in Zaire. I urge Indian youth to join defence forces and not take it as a job.”

Echoing similar sentiments, Shaurya Chakra awardee Colonel (Dr.) DPK Pillay said, “This is an awareness campaign initiative by Harsh Gupta and Sumit Kumar Singh for the youth of India to join the Indian Defence Forces. A career in defence forces promises one of the most prestigious and respected positions in the country. Youngsters who aspire to choose a career of excitement, adventure, and challenges would find no better place than defence to meet all their professional expectations.”

In his keynote address, Director Sumit Kumar Singh said, “Through our campaign, we are trying to reach over 5000 million people in India and across the world.” “Both offline and online, we are reaching up to 5000 schools, colleges, universities, and public forums across India& Nepal.”

While addressing the audience, Harsh Gupta mentioned that the target audience will be people who have a great interest in India’s defence forces and want to join the Indian Armed Forces.

The Expedition would underpin the ideals of service, patriotism, sacrifice, and the composite culture of the country.
